Cheriton Dental Practice is proud to be able to offer the highest standards of private cosmetic and general dentistry. Cheriton is one of the few dental practice in Dorset to be awarded both the prestigious British Dental Association Good Practice Award and the Investors in People Accreditation. We are able to provide dental solutions from the very simple to most advanced cosmetic and restorative

problems. We aim to educate our patients that with appropriate care and regular professional supervision dental disease is now preventable. Our team of highly trained and professional staff will discuss your dental requirements confidentially and professionally, providing you with individual treatment plans outlining the treatment required and the exact costs involved. Please feel free to contact our friendly team to arrange a consultation. We also offer an easy and affordable way to spread the cost of your routine preventive and restorative dental care:

SmileCare is a dental payment plan which allows your dentist to concentrate on preventive care to help stop dental problems before they start. Includes: check-ups, scaling, polishing and other hygiene treatment, dental x-rays, and antibiotics. You will then get a further discount if any treatment is required, including cosmetic work. You can choose to pay your fee monthly by Direct Debit, or annually in advance either by Direct Debit, cheque or credit/debit card. Contact us

Cheriton Dental Practice is situated in Barrack Road on the Bournemouth side of Christchurch. The rail station is less than 400 meters away and there is a bus stop immediately outside the practice. Our opening hours are:
Monday 8.30 to 6.30pm
Tuesday 8.30 to 5.30pm
Wednesday 8.30 to 5.30pm
Thursday 8.30 to 7.30pm
Friday 8.30 to 3.30pm


To make an appointment, please ring 01202 486249 during surgery times. Appointments
We do ask that patients arrive a few minutes before their appointment time. If you find that you are unable to attend your appointment we would appreciate at least 24 hours notice. This will allow us to offer your appointment to another patient, who could be in pain! There may be a charge for a failed appointment. Emergencies
Patients requiring emergency treatment during normal hours will be seen as soon as possible. Outside normal surgery hours an answerphone will inform you how to contact the dentist on-call, so arrangements for emergency treatment can be made. This service is available to registered patients only. All out of hours emergencies are seen by our colleagues at a local practice. Parking
There is a car park at the rear of the building off Belvedere Road for patients while attending the practice. Disabled Access
We have access for disabled patients and offer appointments on the groundfloor for those unable to climb stairs.
