We are operating to a high ‘Standards of Operating Procedures’ which protects our patients and staff.

Update for 8th June 2020

Dear All,

Old Court House Dental Practice is reopening on June 22nd. We have been working hard to implement the correct measures, protective equipment and policies to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

We would like to thank you for the patience and understanding you have shown over the lockdown period, and during our closure. Although we are reopening, the practice will not be able to book examinations and hygiene appointments until further notice. We estimate these routine services are likely to resume in mid to late July and we will provide a new update regarding this.

Initially we will be providing urgent dental care based on a priority system. Following this we will be booking patients in with open courses of treatment. This is an approach many dental practices across the UK are adopting. The latest dental guidelines will significantly reduce the number of patients we can safely see at the practice on a daily basis. If you have any queries or are experiencing any dental pain or issues please call the practice on 01306 885611. Please leave a message on our answerphone and a member of our team will call back as soon as they become available.

We kindly ask that you DO NOT VISIT the practice unless specifically asked to do so. Our front door will remain closed. This is to ensure the safety of all those that work and visit the premises. Once again, we thank you for your patience and cooperation in helping Old Court House Dental Practice reopen.

Coronavirus update

The latest UK government announcement has granted permission for dental surgeries to reopen on June 8th provided the correct measures are in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

There are some significant changes we are implementing upon our return to practice which will ensure the safety and well being of our patients and staff.

Most notably, this will focus on higher standards of personal protective equipment (PPE). The UK stock levels of PPE is currently limited due to the coronavirus pandemic. We are working tirelessly to source the correct PPE and implement these measures at Old Court House to ensure patient safety before we reopen. A new update will be posted on our website shortly once we can confirm our reopening date.

In the interim period, telephone triaging for emergencies is still available for advice, analgesics and antibiotics (as required). Please call 01306885611 in case of emergency only.

We are prioritising treatment upon return based on clinical urgency, and we encourage you not to contact the practice for routine examinations and hygiene appointments until a new update has been released.

To all our loyal patients and friends of OCH

As you are aware all dental practices were advised to cease treating patients from 23rd March 2020 due to the rapidly spreading Covid19. We have as yet had no further updates as to when we can reopen for face to face visits.

Looking after the health of our patients is our absolute priority so we are operating a telephone consultation service on 01306 885611 .

Until we can reopen to see you all we are happy to answer your queries by telephone and also see below for some helpful at home dental advise.

We will update you as soon as we have an opening date in the near future. When we can welcome you back to our usual high standard of dental care

To all our loyal patients, friends and families,

The government have recently issued advice in relation to provision of dental treatment.

Due to the risk of Covid 19 transmission we cannot perform any routine dental procedures.

We are operating an Emegency Telephone Consultation on 01306 885611. We can offer advice and prescribe medication as appropriate via our clinicians.

Urgent Dental Care Centres are being made available by NHS England where the staff and clinicians will have access to enhanced protective equipment for their and your safety. This service will be for dental emergencies only.

We look forward to welcoming all our patients back to Old Court House Dental Practice in the near future when we are advised it is safe to reopen. In the meantime we will happily assist you with our telephone consultations.

We are looking to appoint a new Periodontist at Old Court House Dental Practice in Dorking, Surrey. Our current periodontist has relocated and hence the opening.

We are a private practice, with visiting specialists, and hygienists. The position is ideally for one session/day per month, with flexibility on the days depending upon convenience.
