Bateman & Best Dental Practice Established for over 30 years. We are a local, friendly dental practice in Darwen, Lancashire, providing mixed NHS and Private Dentistry.

Bateman & Best was founded in 1979 at the existing premises. Today, it is a large practice comprising of 6 surgeries over 3 adjacent properties and committed to providing a constantly high standard of mixed Private and NHS care. The practice is heavily involved with education and training and the principal makes a conscious commitment to grow as a ‘Training’ practice, and be responsive to the need

s of the patients within the NHS Framework. Minor Oral Surgery Contract (MOSS)
In January 2012, a new pilot scheme for Minor Oral Surgery Service was introduced across the local areas and Dr Weil took part in this new scheme offering oral surgery sessions to patients that had been referred from other dentists in the Blackburn with Darwen area. This new scheme for the oral surgery service was introduced to reduce burden on hospital care by providing oral surgery procedures by a dentist with a special interest in this area. Due to the success of the new service, we have been awarded the sessions on a permanent basis. Services we offer include:
