Our thoughts are with the people of Nepal🙏

Uh-oh …… ‘’my bridge has broken’’

This pleasant gentleman attended as an emergency patient, after a fracture of his old bridge. The restoration was made out of a weak material, and unfortunately the inevitable happened, a fracture at the wrong time….. on the wrong day.

Dr Stephen got to work, provided him with an immediate temporary bridge until his final bridge returned. We used a zirconia based material for his permanent bridge which provides strength and a cosmetic solution.

Needless to say the patient was delighted with the outcome 😁🥰.

A tooth that’s part of an existing bridge has failed. What’s the options? Dismantle the bridge or try to preserve it for as long as possible? The patient decided to preserve it with a root canal treatment with our endodontic provider Dr Matt Wood. 🦷🧚⛔️ Another tooth saved!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Dr Stephen for completing his Diploma in Periodontology with specialist periodontist Dr Hatem Algraffee . Stephen had a great time learning all the latest techniques in periodontology from Dr Hatem including gum grafting and advanced gum disease treatments. He can now offer these new treatments to his patients.🥰

The art of dentistry🎨🫟🖌️

This patient attended complaining of a really old crown which has not aged well. He was becoming self conscious of its dark margins 😢

He saw Dr Stephen for a cosmetic consultation. Stephen got to the drawing board. A plan was made:

✅ Improve general colour of teeth (teeth whitening)
✅ Replace existing crown for new generation materials
✅ Incorporate natural aesthetics into new crown

Stephen worked really hard with the Lab to ensure a successful outcome. Credit to Queensway Dental Laboratory for making this lovely crown.
