This afternoon we had a wee lunch and shared some memories of the last 35 years before Mr Govan's last day tomorrow.

He wishes to express his sincere thanks for all the cards and gifts over the last few weeks. He says he will "miss the camaraderie from a great bunch of patients."

We will all miss him greatly but wish him all the best for his future.

After more than 35 years in Mayfield, and almost 30 years with our practice, Mr Govan has decided to hang up his mirror and probe for the final time at the end of March this year. We will miss him greatly and wish him all the best for his upcoming retirement. We will be in touch with any further updates going forward.

The Practice is now closed for the festive period and will reopen on Monday 5th January at 8.00 am. We will be open for EMERGENCIES only on 29th, 30th and 31st December at 8.30 am for a limited time. If you require emergency advice outwith this time, please contact NHS24 on 111.
