At present we continue to follow guidelines set out by the scottish government and the chief dental officer. Currently the practice is open to see urgent care. We are still unable to carry out any routine NHS check ups or fillings but if you have a dental concern please contact the practice for advice.

Update 01/07/2020
In line with the latest guidance from the Scottish Government,
we have now reopened the practice. Currently we are only permitted to treat patients requiring urgent care, meaning all routine check-ups, hygienist visits, fillings etc need to be postponed until further notice - we will not be booking appointments for future dates at present.
If you have a dental emergency please contact the practice Monday - Friday from 9am where your call will be triaged.

You must have an arranged appointment prior to attending the practice.

Covid-19 practice update following the announcement from the Scottish government on Thursday 18th June 2020 it was stated Dental Practices in Scotland would begin to open from Monday 22nd June onwards.

We are required to follow guidance from the CDO and Fife Health Board and are therefore awaiting confirmation on a date for opening.

At Prodental we will be following the advice from the Scottish Government on the treatment we are permitted to carry out during each stage of reopening. A full risk assessment of the practice has been carried out during closure to allow us to open safely. Some members of the Prodental team have been working at the urgent dental care centres so have an insight of the changes made to the way we approach dentistry at this time.
Below is what to expect during this phase of returning to dentistry -
We will be providing emergency care within the practice on an appointment only basis.
All routine care will continue to be postponed until further notice.
If requiring an appointment you will need to call the practice where you will be triaged by an appropriate member of staff and an appointment will be arranged if necessary.
You will be asked to attend the practice alone where possible.
A member of the dental team will meet you at the practice entrance at your appointment time and take you directly to the surgery you will be assessed in.
Hand and respiratory stations will be in use for staff and patients.
There will no aerosol generating procedures allowed to take place within the practice which could limit the treatment options offered to you by the practice at this time.
