Dental nurse maternity cover. With strong potential of a permanent position- Cowbridge.

An opportunity has arisen for a qualified and registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly team

We are a busy 2 surgery practice in the heart of the Vale of Glamorgan. Easily accessible via car or public transport.

The role will include chairside dental nursing assisting the dentist, greeting patients, decontamination and some reception duties (when required)

Knowledge of Exact/SOE software is desirable, full training will be provided
We offer a range of treatments at the practice.

Part time hours - Wednesday-Friday 8:30 till 5 with an hour for lunch.

Applicants should be GDC registered, have valid indemnity insurance, valid DBS certificate and full vaccination history.

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

Salary: From £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

No weekends
Ability to commute/relocate:

Cowbridge, CF71 7AF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:

Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Valid GDC registration (required)

Good Afternoon to all our lovely patients! Even though Wales are having a fire break (lockdown for 2 weeks) we are STILL OPEN. We are allowed to see patients throughout this time. Please ring the practice if you have any queries. Thank you

Even though more of us are in local lockdowns you are able to travel for medical appointments which includes dental. So if you have no symptoms of COVID and are not self isolating then you can still keep your appointment.

Any queries please ring the practice (during opening hours) & we be happy to help.

New local rules will be in place for Neath Port Talbot, Torfaen and Vale of Glamorgan from 6pm tomorrow.

This brings the counties in line with action being taken across South Wales to stop the spread of coronavirus.

The local restrictions prevent:

❌ Travel in and out of the area, without good reason
❌ Meeting indoors with people you don’t live with – including in pubs and restaurants

This is part of our efforts to contain the rise in cases and prevent more areas in Wales being affected.
