This denture may look a little different to what you typically picture when you think of a denture.

What you’re seeing is a cobalt chrome denture which is essentially metal framework over the typical acrylic.

Benefits of having a chrome denture are:
1. Stronger and more durable due to material
2. Thinner and more comfortable as they don’t cover the entirety of the palate
3. Can be a better fit due to the metal clasps acting as hooks round the teeth
