• What is laser teeth whitening?
Laser teeth whitening is an effective way of lightening the natural colour of your teeth without removing any of the tooth surface (enamel) by up to 14 shades.
• How long do the whitening results last?
For most people, we find that the results are long-lasting. Your teeth should stay noticeably whiter for a considerable amount of time. However, ongoing top ups are a good idea to keep your teeth at the shade you prefer. It’s important to remember that exposure to heavily staining food and drinks such as coffee, red wine and curry as well as to***co will darken teeth and are harder to lift.
• How many sessions would you recommend?
For most people, one session of laser teeth whitening is enough to enhance their smile up to 14 shades brighter. However, in some cases certain clients may require 2 sessions, 8 days apart to achieve their desired whitening results.
• Am I eligible for laser teeth whitening?
If you meet any of the following criteria, then we recommend that you do not undergo laser teeth whitening at this time:
o If you have braces
o If you have signs/have gum disease: You should book an appointment with your dentist and seek their advice before proceeding with this treatment
o If you have a large build-up of plaque in and around your teeth: For the best results, we recommend you book an appointment with your dental practice’s hygienist for a clean a week or two before you are undergoing your treatment with us
o Pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding: You should not undergo laser teeth whitening until your baby is born or whilst you are breast feeding your baby
