Most dental websites won't tell you what anything costs.

We've never understood that. If you're nervous about coming in, being unsure what you're going to be asked to pay is one more reason not to pick up the phone — and that's the last thing anybody needs.

So every appointment fee we charge is now on one page. Not a PDF you have to request. Not "prices from". The actual figures, with how long each appointment is and what happens in it.

A 7 Step new patient consultation is £99 on our New Patient Offer until 31 December (usually £155). Direct access hygiene with our therapist is £145. Our maintenance plans start at £12.83 a month.

Have a look before you ring. It's easier that way.

This is composite bonding — a tooth-coloured material shaped straight onto the teeth by hand, in the chair, and polished until it catches the light the way enamel does. Chips, worn edges, small gaps and uneven lengths all soften out.

It's the treatment people are most surprised by, because they've usually come in expecting to be told they need veneers.

Nobody's going to make you open your mouth in the first ten minutes.

Here's what a 7 Step consultation actually looks like:

We talk first. What's brought you in, what you've been putting off, what happened last time that you'd rather didn't happen again.

Then a proper look — teeth, gums, bite, and a soft tissue check.

Then photographs and any X-rays we need, so you can see what we're seeing.

Then options, in plain English, with what each one involves and what it costs. You go home and think about it. Nothing gets booked in that appointment unless you want it booked.

45 minutes. New Patient Offer £99 (usually £155), until 31 December. That's the whole thing.

Sixteen years ago David started treating patients in Chorley. Some of them are still in his chair today.

David Hickey holds a Diploma in Restorative Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, and he'll tell you the qualification matters far less than what happens in the first five minutes of an appointment — the part where you tell him what you're worried about, and nobody raises an eyebrow.
