Private Dental Exams are £99 and include all of the following:

🩵 Cancer screening for peace of mind there’s no early signs of potential health issues

🩵 Digital x-rays to see what’s going inside your teeth - helpful to stop issues becoming costly

🩵 Digital scanning so that you can visualise the inside of your mouth and see areas that you can’t in the mirror

🩵 Advice on any concerns you have

🩵 Information about cosmetic treatments that leave you confused but curious

🩵 Confidence to smile knowing you have a healthy mouth with no underlying problems

Appointments are 60 minutes - which seems long, but this amount of time helps you to relax and feel comfortable during your exam.

It allows you to enjoy a drink beforehand and chat with Deepa. Getting to know each other first is proven to reduce anxiety.

It means we don’t rush. Deepa has time to discuss each element beforehand, leaving you in control of the appointment.

It allows you to think. To ask questions about things that have been bothering you, or treatments you may have been considering but never really understood.

Spending a little more time on yourself is ok, it helps you to continue to thrive into later life.

“After 6 wonderful years at Love The Dentist Chester, the time has come for me to say goodbye.

It has been a genuine pleasure to care for you and your families, and I am incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in me over the years.

Getting to know my patients and help make your visits as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, easing any anxieties, and helping you feel confident and love your smile, have been the most rewarding parts of my time here, and I will truly miss our conversations and catch ups!

This decision has not been an easy one, but I will be moving to a practice closer to home so I can spend more time with my two-year-old daughter, during these precious early years.

We are incredibly proud to announce that our Love The Dentist practice in Chester has been featured on the website.

Our home at 9 St John Street is a Grade II listed Georgian townhouse, built circa 1760. The recent listing highlights the beautiful architectural details of our building, particularly the stunning original staircase, turned newel posts, and the atrium light.

As a local business, we feel a deep sense of responsibility to preserve and celebrate the heritage of Chester. Operating a modern, state-of-the-art dental practice within a historic 18th-century building comes with its unique charms, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

A huge thank you to Historic England for documenting our beautiful building. We invite all our patients to take a moment to appreciate the history around them during their next visit!

Meet Sally ✨

She has over 25 years experience in dental care, specifically hygiene and gum care.

Sally can help you to feel better about your smile with a simple scale and polish by removing surface stains and plaque.

Plaque and calculus build up over time to form a hard layer on your teeth’s surface that cannot be removed by brushing alone.

If left, plaque and calculus builds up, which over time and can affect your gums, making them red, sore and puffy.

It also increases staining, making your teeth look dirty and dull.

Sally gently removes the plaque, calculus and staining with gentle tools and techniques that do not hurt.

Although they may look sharp and uncomfortable, teeth scaling equipment have a rounded tip and work with gentle ultrasonics that lift the hardened plaque and stains.

Removing it stops gum irritation, which drastically decreases your chance of developing early gum disease.

Sally can see you on a direct access basis, meaning that even if you’re registered with an NHS dentist, you can still enjoy an enhanced clean to improve your smile.
