5 simple things you can do today to keep your teeth healthy for longer 🦷
People often assume maintaining a healthy smile requires expensive treatments or complicated routines.
The truth?
It's usually the small things you do consistently that make the biggest difference.
Here are five simple tips we regularly share with our patients:
✅ Brush for two minutes, twice a day
Not 30 seconds while scrolling your phone. A full two minutes makes a real difference.
✅ Clean between your teeth daily
Floss, interdental brushes or water flossers all work. The best one is the one you'll actually use.
✅ Wait 30 minutes after eating before brushing
Especially after acidic foods and drinks. Brushing too soon can damage softened enamel.
✅ Drink more water
It helps wash away food particles, supports saliva production and keeps your mouth healthier.
✅ Don't ignore bleeding gums
Healthy gums shouldn't bleed. If they do, it's worth getting them checked.
