We will be closing our practice early today at 12:45pm for our annual Summer Games 🏏☀🎲

You might catch us throwing Co****le beanbags or frisbees at Riverside Park this afternoon!

We will be open the rest of the week:

Friday 7th: 8am - 3pm
Saturday 8th: 9am - 1pm

Huge thank you to Holly from Lam dental care who recently visited Nettlesworth Primary School to teach our Reception children about the importance of oral health and personal hygiene. We explored how to care for our teeth and the importance of developing good habits from an early age.

We developed an understanding of how to look after ourselves, recognising the importance of brushing our teeth regularly and making healthy food choices.

The children engaged in discussions with the dentist, asked questions, and learned new vocabulary such as “plaque,” “tooth decay,” and “healthy foods.” Listening and attention skills were developed as they followed instructions and responded to prompts.

The visit helped children understand how their bodies work, particularly how teeth help us eat and why keeping them clean is important for overall health.

The visit also reinforced key messages about the importance of oral health, including:
- Brushing teeth twice daily with fluoride toothpaste,
- Limiting sugary foods and drinks,
- Visiting the dentist regularly.

Thanks again Holly, we can’t wait to see you again next year 🦷🪥
