Together we offer friendly family dentistry and an unmatched range of cosmetic and preventative dentistry including dental hygiene, dental implants, dentures, same day ceramic crowns, Inman Aligners and smile makeovers - to individuals and families in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham and Gloucestershire. 🦷 On Friday, our Principal Dentist, Sarah Farrier, Dentists, Michael Simms and Benjamin Wade joined the GID Gloucestershire Independent Dentists study day on "Empowering the General Practitioner to Provide Dental Implant Care".

This session explored how dentists can develop their implant services and the different approaches to straightforward, advanced and complex cases.

The programme also covered digital diagnostics and planning, training pathways and a refresher on local anaesthetic in general dental practice.

A big thank you to Colin Campbell from The Campbell Academy, Wrights Dental UK, Geistlich (UK) and the GID team for a great day of learning and discussion!

Meet Thomas Lees, our Specialist in Oral Surgery and Dental Sedationist. 👋

With more than 20 years of experience providing intravenous sedation and working across hospital oral surgery services in the UK and the US, he brings a wealth of expertise to Arden House.

He is passionate about helping nervous patients feel more relaxed and comfortable throughout their visit.

Outside of work, Thomas is a keen cyclist and photographer - so when he’s not helping you feel at ease at Arden House, you’ll likely find him out on two wheels or behind the camera! 📷🚲

An update on clear aligner treatment in the UK. 🦷

Following a recent HMRC ruling, clear aligners are now subject to 20% VAT, which means an additional fee for dental practices providing this type of treatment.

At Arden House, we’ve chosen to absorb that extra cost rather than pass it on to our patients - so our current clear aligner fees will remain in place until February 2027. 💙

Our hygienists are a key part of the Arden House team, helping you stay on top of your oral health with professional cleaning, including Airflow stain removal, personalised advice and plenty of tips for keeping your smile in great shape between visits. They’re passionate about prevention and helping our patients understand the simple steps they can take to take care of their teeth and gums every day.

Just look at the difference! 👀

It’s hard to believe this is Arden House back in 2024 compared with how our practice looks today.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve been working to create a larger, more comfortable practice with additional space for our patients and team.

What started as a four-surgery practice now has six surgeries, additional space for hygiene appointments, a new consultation room, an accessible X-ray suite and more welcoming spaces for patients to enjoy during their visits.

Every change has been made with our patients in mind, giving our team the space and facilities they need to continue providing personalised, high-quality care as the practice grows.

And, importantly, this means we now have more room to welcome new private patients to Arden House and provide comprehensive dental care under one roof. 🤍

We’re incredibly proud to see how far the practice has come, and even more excited about what’s ahead.

Meet Ellie, one of our Dental Nurses at Arden House. 👋

Ellie joined the Arden House team in 2020 and, with the support of the team, worked hard to complete her dental nursing qualification, officially qualifying in 2023.

As a Dental Nurse, Ellie plays an important role in supporting our clinicians and helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visits. She’s naturally friendly and caring, as well as organised, quick to learn and always happy to lend a hand.

We’re so pleased to have Ellie as part of the Arden House team and look forward to seeing her continue to grow in her role. 🤍
