⚠️ IMPORTANT HORSE TRANSPORT SAFETY ⚠️
A horse rearing inside a lorry or trailer is extremely dangerous.
When a horse rears in a confined, moving space they can:
❌ Hit their head or neck on the roof or bars
❌ Suffer serious spinal, neck, or head injuries
❌ Slip, fall backwards or forwards becoming trapped
❌ Panic and injure themselves, other horses, or handlers
These injuries can be life-changing or fatal.
Horses may rear due to fear, poor balance, pain, bad experiences, or unsuitable travel setup. Please take rearing seriously and don’t ignore warning signs.
✅ Make sure vehicles are safe and well-bedded
✅ Use appropriate partitions and headroom
✅ Train and travel horses gradually

Absolutely delighted to be asked down to Goffs to showcase the newest product for Equine Safety Realise Bar. I will be working with them, trialing their safety harness. So far, it's a welcome addition as I have had more than a few stressful days worrying about young horses traveling, so I can't wait to put it to use.
