If you have a common condition such as an ear infection, eczema, a minor skin infection or require routine contraception, your local community pharmacy can help.

Some pharmacies offer a free NHS service where a specially qualified pharmacist can assess your condition and provide treatment where appropriate. This means you may be able to get the care you need directly from your community pharmacy.

📢 Practice Closure – 13th October 2026

Please be aware that the practice will be closed from 1:30pm on Tuesday 13 October 2026 for staff training.
We will reopen as normal on the morning of Wednesday 14 October 2026.

When we are closed and you require medical attention:
Emergencies
In a life-threatening emergency such as sudden severe chest pain, severe breathlessness, loss of power in a limb, loss of consciousness, or severe bleeding dial 999.
Also, in the event of poisoning or overdose then attend the local A&E department
NHS 111 Wales (Out of Hours)
NHS 111 Wales is a health advice and information service available 24 hours a day, every day. Cardiff and Vale University Healthboard commissions the Out of Hours Service.
You can call 111 if you are feeling ill and are unsure what to do, or for health information on a wide range of conditions, treatments, and local health services.

🗓️ Today marks the launch of this winter’s NHS flu vaccination programme in Wales.

Routine flu vaccination is estimated to have prevented more than 800 flu-related hospital admissions in Wales last winter.
