⭐️CASE OF THE WEEK⭐️
This week’s shinning star goes to our wonderful Dr Andrew Bartley!
Sometimes the biggest victories in endodontics are the ones that aren’t obvious at first glance.
This patient presented with symptoms despite very subtle radiographic findings. Careful clinical evaluation and diagnosis led to root canal treatment, allowing us to eliminate the source of infection while preserving the natural tooth.
One of the unexpected challenges in this case was the anatomy itself. The canal measured nearly 30 mm in length, significantly longer than average, requiring meticulous attention throughout cleaning, shaping, and obturation to ensure complete treatment from start to finish.
Not every case presents with a large lesion or dramatic radiographic changes. Sometimes listening to the patient, trusting the diagnosis, and navigating unusual anatomy makes all the difference.
