Worried about your visit to the dentist?

Rest assured, we will ensure that your visit remains as safe as possible!

Here is an example of the Personal Protective Equipment that is worn within the surgeries during treatments.

As a dental practice we already take cross infection control very seriously, but we’ve upped our game even further! 🔝
Gloves, gowns, filtration masks and visors are worn by our staff. On top of this all appointment times have been extended, gaps between patients whilst our fogging machine is used to disinfect the surgeries, air purifiers installed and rooms well ventilated!

Covid-19 update from Bridge Dental Practice

Firstly, we are fully aware that currently dental patients in need of urgent treatment are facing a very difficult situation. Most General Dental Practices were forced to close to keep the public and staff safe. There is a national shortage of PPE equipment, however, we have been informed that new Urgent Dental Centres are to open imminently. In Kent, these will be located in Chatham, Ashford and Maidstone. Patients will have to be referred by their General Dentist and will have to fulfil an "urgent case" criteria in order to be referred. The referral system is not ready yet and we are waiting to hear further. We will be sending another update once we receive more information.

We strongly recommend, that patients:

- Should consider cancelling their appointment if there is a risk that they have come into contact with Covid-19, seek medical advice and self-isolate as advised
- Thoroughly and frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds at a time and avoid touching your mouth and eyes.
