In response to the Government announcement on 4th January 2021 we are pleased to confirm that the Camborne Dental Practice will remain open and continue to provide face to face care for patients.

We are working in a COVID safe environment with enhanced PPE, with screening procedures for patients and staff.

During these uncertain times it is so important that patients are able to access the care they need, we would urge patients to follow the Prime Minister’s advice to continue with your medical appointments during this time.

You will be asked to complete some forms ahead of your appointment. This is very important that it is completed within 24hours of the appointment so we can provide everyone’s care safely and efficiency.

We have hand sanitiser that we will ask you to use when you enter the practice and kindly request that you wear a mask on arrival and whilst waiting for your appointment.

If you show symptoms following appointment booking, you should contact the practice by phone or email

Please do not arrive early to the practice. If necessary, you should wait outside the practice

Good Afternoon to all our Patients and Friends of Camborne Dental Practice

SHARING THE GOOD NEWS…..

There was an announcement by the Prime Minister yesterday that Dentists can start seeing patients face to face from Monday 8th June.

We have been issued with the guidelines and are working to put the new measures in place in order to keep you, our valued patients and staff safe.

We are pleased to announce that we will be open and available to treat you in the practice from Monday 8th June.

The first few weeks will be for emergency appointments only.

We will be in contact next week with the patients who have experienced urgent dental problems during the last 2 months, to offer an appointment time for you to come along and safely visit us.
Once we have seen you for a consultation we can then book the appropriate treatment appointment for you.

We will of course be available to deal with new emergencies, so don’t hesitate to call us.

Due to social distancing and limited patient access, we would prefer that you call us about your dental problem, rather than coming into the practice please.

If you have a routine appointment booked between 8th and 30th June, this will be postponed for now and we will be in touch to rebook.

After treating the initial emergencies, we can then extend our services to other patient groups as the lockdown restrictions are eased further.

We will be able to see:

• Patients with treatment that was not completed prior to the lockdown
• Patients who were due for their recent examinations and hygienist appointments

We will be writing to you soon to explain the changes we have
made to ensure we are all safe and how this will affect your next visit to the practice.

IMPORTANT UPDATED NOTICE TO PATIENTS

COVID-19 PANDEMIC

With effect from 26.3.20

We are temporarily CLOSED

With the COVID-19 outbreak we have been advised to cease ALL ROUTINE DENTISTRY and operate a telephone or video call advice service only.

We are unsure of how long this will last and will follow the Public Health Guidance on this.


You will be hearing from us by phone, text or email if we need to rearrange your appointments.

If you have an urgent dental emergency please call the practice on 01209 611832 and you will be connected to one of our dentists.

You will receive a consultation by telephone or video call and treatment will be limited to remote advice, analgesia and antimicrobials where appropriate only.

Patients who require treatment after rigorous triage will be referred to their Local Urgent Dental Care Centre.

Above all please stay safe and we are still here to take care of your emergency dental needs.
