During January many of you will have received a letter from us explaining that NHS dentistry at Teeth For Life will come to an end on 31st March.

Our focus as always going forward is long-term oral health, prevention and continuity of care.

Many patients have already chosen to stay with us by joining one of our dental plans. All adult plans include both dental examinations and hygiene appointments — the main difference is how often we see you during the year.

For many adults, being seen twice yearly for both checks and hygiene offers greater reassurance and helps catch small issues early, before they become bigger problems.

We also offer simple children’s plans designed to support regular check-ups and early prevention as teeth develop and change. Many parents value the reassurance of routine reviews, familiarity with the dental team, and continuity of care as their child grows.

If you haven’t yet had a chance to look at the options, or would like help choosing what’s right for you or your child, our team will be very happy to talk it through.

NHS care will end on 31st March, so please get in touch if you’d like to remain under our care after that date.

Why are we making a change? The upcoming April 2026 Welsh NHS contract changes mean many healthy NHS patients would only be seen approximately every 24 months. We simply don’t believe that's right for your health. To protect your access to regular 6-12 month check-ups and the familiar team you trust, we are transitioning from a mixed NHS and private to a fully private-led model.

The good news: We’re not going anywhere!

Continuity of Care: You keep your chosen dentist and our friendly team.

Guaranteed Access: You won't be moved to a central portal; your place here is secure.

Affordable Plans: Our plans start at just £11 a month (36p a day) for adults and just £8 per month (26p a day) for children to make top-tier care accessible for everyone.
