The purpose of a surgical guide to place an implant is to gain accuracy! Sometimes the space we’re working in doesn’t give much wiggle room, so you need to be extra precise. This one was tight!!! 🎯 Once the implant was in we “immediately loaded” it, by placing a temporary crown. This will give the patient a tooth during healing, but also, it allows us to contour the gums to an ideal shape before finalising the case in a few weeks.
