We’re incredibly proud to see our very own dentist, Dr Nick More, featured in the September 2026 issue of Devon Life magazine.
Nick qualified as a dentist from Sheffield University in 2000, training in Manchester before buying into a practice in Leicestershire. Alongside his dental career, however, he developed a lifelong passion for diving and the underwater world.
His love of diving began at just 18, during a family holiday in the Maldives, and he went on to explore the waters of the Caribbean and Red Sea, initially taking photographs with a compact digital camera. His photography quickly developed into something much more serious, eventually leading him to professional level underwater photography.
His incredible images have included dolphins, scalloped hammerhead sharks, blue sharks, tiger sharks and some of the ocean’s tiniest creatures. His photography has received national recognition, including being named runner up in the British Underwater Photographer of the Year, appearing on The One Show, and featuring in Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2022.
Nick also now runs specialist underwater photography workshops, including trips to Lembeh in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, working alongside renowned photographer Alex Mustard.
A fantastic feature celebrating an amazing passion proving that there’s certainly more to Nick than what happens in the dental chair! 🦷
