We always knew that we will have to write this post one day… the post that notifies our patients, that after much deliberation and endless postponements, the time has come to slow down…. time to hand over the responsibilities and work fewer hours, time to hand over the keys to the front door to a new owner….

Time to do the things we never had time for…. like spending more time with family and friends in South Africa and all over the world, more time pursuing our hobbies and more time to just sit in the sun somedays and braai on most days…

We have the most wonderful memories of the past 16 years…We’ll always remember our friendly patients and the banter we had in the Surgery. We’ll never forget our dedicated Staff of so many years… We’ll look back to these past years as a season of appreciation, growth and gratitude, but also of pride, for what we, with the help of our Staff, have built at number 6 Ramsgate Road…

Here is wishing the new owner, Dr Rayan Gibril the very best of luck in her chapter at the Surgery… We hope that, like us, she will one day, when it is time for her to write a similar post on this page, also remember only the best of times in this special place…

Dear Patients

Today is the last working day for this amazing team. They will all take a well deserved rest until January, when Penny will be back trying to fit patients into an already very full day, our three Hygienists will be back smiling and chatting while they scale and polish and our lovely nurses will be back doing all the important things they do to keep things running smoothly….

During our scrumptious Christmas dinner at, Quince in Westgate, we marvelled about how some of them have been a part of our team for more than 13 years…
We always try our best to make sure they know just how important they are and just how much we appreciate them.

Thank you, to you, our patients for continueing to choose us as your oral health team and for being friendly and courteous towards our staff.

Many of you will remember Dandré, James and Marianne’s son, who worked at the Practice before relocating to Leeds some time ago…
We thought we’d share a few photos of Dandré’s and Alyssa’s wedding in Kentucky, USA. They got married on the 10th of October. Please join us in congratulating the happy couple.

It is a sad day in the Practice today. We were shocked to learn that two of our loveliest patients were amongst the 52 British citizens who lost their lives in the Air India plane crash yesterday.
We remember Jamie and Fiongal as kind souls who always had a good word to say about everybody. Our sincere condolences go out to their family and friends during this difficult time. Like you, we will miss these two gracious, warm-hearted gentlemen.
