What is Clear Aligner treatment?
- 32Co treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.

What is the treatment process?
1) Get your smile assessed
Treatment starts with a consultation. Dr Anastasija Bates or Dr Katie Bynoth will undertake a smile assessment and a dental health check to ensure suitability. During this appointment smile digital records will be taken to create a digital treatment plan
2) Receive your new smile design.
Sit down with Dr Anastasija Bates/ Dr Katie Bynoth and review your bespoke digital treatment plan, designed with input from specialist orthodontists where required, to achieve your new smile
3) Start treatment within 2-4 weeks
Your custom-made clear aligners are manufactured and you can start straightening your teeth in as little as 2 weeks.

What happens afterwards?
-You will need to wear retainers nighty to prevent your teeth from shifting back to their original position.

With all this nice weather we are having, it is important to stay hydrated by drinking water! 🌞

As the body dehydrates, saliva production diminishes, causing the mouth to feel dry and sticky. Lips may also become dry and chapped.

Saliva is your mouths natural defence against decay and staying hydrated helps you produce enough of it.

A dry mouth can:

𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚:
- A dry mouth allows bacteria to thrive, leading to plaque build-up and increased risk of tooth decay and gum disease.

𝐄𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- Reduced saliva means less protection against acids that erode tooth enamel, increasing the risk of cavities.

𝐁𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡:
- Dry mouth c an cause bad breath as saliva helps to wash away odour causing bacteria.

𝐆𝐮𝐦 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞:
- Dehydration can contribute to gum inflammation and infection, potentially leading to gum disease.

𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬:
- Dehydration can cause you to crave sugary drinks or snacks, which can further damage your teeth.

Also, water is beneficial for the whole body!

Thank you to everyone who has currently donated!

The team at Clifton Down is taking part in the in May. For some members of the team, this is their first time entering a race.

We are raising donations for 'Mind Charity'- this is a fantastic charity- their aim is to give advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, self awareness, and promote understanding. We all know someone who has been affected by mental health problems. It is important to know a charity like 'Mind' is around to help to help the.

We are very lucky to have recruited a new associate to look after the dental health of Aliyas’s patients and we will continue to welcome new patients to the Practice.

Anastasija graduated from the University of Leeds in 2019. Since, she has worked at the Dental Hospital in Manchester, community dental service and general dental practice and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow. Anastasija joined our team this year offering a wide range of routine dental care. She is also a provider of orthodontic clear aligners and facial aesthetics including anti-wrinkle treatments. Having recently relocated back to Bristol Anastasija is enjoying getting to know Bristol once again

We have said goodbye to our lovely associate Aliya.

She is heading off backpacking with her husband.
They plan to visit California, Southeast Asia and India over the next 6months.

Following this she will be relocating to London.
She leaves with nothing but positive memories of our wonderful patients and of course the fabulous team.

We are looking for a qualified dental nurse/receptionist to join our friendly team.
We are an independent dental practice in Clifton that offers a wide range of treatments, including dental implants and Invisalign.
The position is available for an experienced nurse, registered with the GDC, and has good communication and people skills, who is committed to deliver high care and be part of our patient's journey.
Excellent rates of pay, dependent on level of experience and qualifications. We provide inhouse training and encourage attendance at post graduate courses.
Parking scheme available for members of staff. Other benefits include paid GDC registration, annual pay increases, in house CPD training, and payment/support for extra dental nursing qualifications, such as radiography, and implant training
