Meet The Team!

Meet Dr. Prateek Mehta our Orthodontist.
Dr. Mehta obtained his BDS and Masters degree in Orthodontics from India and subsequently MOrth from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons. He kickstarted his career here by passing the ORE and began working in a mixed practice doing private orthodontic treatment.
Prateek is extremely passionate about dentistry and so he did not want to confine himself purely to Orthodontics only. He widened his horizon by completing courses in Restorative and Facial Aesthetics. The additional knowledge and skills gained facilitate him in not just aligning the teeth or doing smile makeovers but also to combine the expertise to achieve better treatment outcomes. His current portfolio puts him in a unique position to produce both beautiful and functional longer lasting smiles.
In Orthodontics, he takes pride in understanding patient’s need and tries to achieve the best result with the methods most suitable for his clients.
Prateek takes pride in helping not only his patients but also his peers and colleagues. He is one of the mentor with IAS Academy with a view to guiding other dentists to improve some aspects of their dentistry.

Prateek is currently taking on new private patients.

Our practices in England are getting ready to welcome you back from Monday, so we wanted to tell you about some changes for your next appointment. Please watch our video to see what you can expect.

At the moment, we’re prioritising patients who are in pain or need to see a dentist ASAP. We’re not yet able to book routine appointments, but we’ll let you know as soon as we can. In the meantime, please continue to call your dental practice if you need any advice for a dental problem.

Our practice is now closed to routine treatments and will be seeing emergencies only between 9-5:30.
Please call the practice if you feel you are in need of an emergency appointment and we will do our best to get you in.
We can also provide phone advice and prescriptions where necessary.

This International Ice Cream Day we want you to indulge in the good stuff without damaging those pearly whites! While everything is okay in moderation, we had a look to see what’s best for your teeth if you fancy this sweet treat!

If you're dead set on Ice Cream, for the lowest amount of free sugars pick something like the Ben and Jerry's Moophoria.
But your best bet is a Mini-Milk instead which has only 3g of sugar per lolly and is still just as cool and delicious!

It’s World Chocolate Day! You can still love your teeth and practice good oral health whilst enjoying a little treat now and again. What better excuse than this?
Whether it’s your favourite chocolate bar or a slice of cake, treat yourself but try and enjoy as part of a meal and don’t forget to brush and floss later.
