Brushing at the wrong time can do more harm than good. 👀🪥

Most of us are taught to brush twice a day, but when you brush can matter just as much as how you brush.

After eating or drinking something acidic, the enamel surface can be temporarily softened.

Brushing immediately can increase enamel wear before your saliva has had time to neutralise the acids.

A simple habit like waiting around 30 minutes and rinsing with water first can help protect your teeth in the long run.

There’s an exciting opportunity to join the team at Muse Dental in Keynsham.
We’re looking for a GDC-registered Dental Nurse who genuinely cares about their patients, enjoys being part of a close-knit team and wants to work somewhere that will support them to continue learning and developing.
We’re an independent, family-owned private dental practice, and we believe our dental nurses are an important part of our clinical team.
As well as GDC registration and CPD being paid, we offer funded career development, with opportunities to develop skills in areas including implant nursing, dental radiography, clinical photography, intra-oral scanning and 3D printing.
You'll also receive 4 weeks' holiday plus bank holidays, your birthday off, a paid volunteering day, sick pay, workplace pension, patient membership after probation and fully funded team social events.
Previous private practice or implant experience would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. We’re happy to provide training and support — finding someone with the right attitude, personality and passion for patient care is more important to us.
