Is your SKIN BARRIER damaged? 🤍

Here’s how to tell, what causes it, and how to repair it.

If your skin feels tight, dry, flaky, red, or stings when you apply your usual products, your skin barrier (also called your moisture barrier) could be compromised. It’s one of the most common skin concerns I see, and the good news is that it’s very fixable.

The biggest mistake?
Adding more products when your skin is struggling.
Barrier repair is about doing less: a gentle cleanser, a moisturiser with ceramides, hyaluronic acid or squalane, and a daily SPF.
Give it 2–4 weeks of consistency.

A healthy skin barrier is also the foundation for getting great results from skin treatments like microneedling. That’s why every treatment plan I create starts with understanding your skin first.
