Dr. Karuna Kharuna, BDS
We’re thrilled to welcome Karuna to the team at The Village Dental Centre! With her warm personality and wealth of experience, she’s a fantastic addition to our practice.

Karuna has completed advanced training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry with the renowned Dr. Monik Vasant, and she’s also a certified Invisalign provider—bringing confident, healthy smiles to her patients with a gentle, modern touch.

Her motto? “Ordinary dentistry done extraordinarily well.” She’s all about ethical, minimally invasive care, and making sure every patient feels relaxed, informed, and totally looked after.

When she’s not creating smiles, Karuna loves cooking up a storm, bingeing a good Netflix series, and spending time with her family and friends.

Nigel’s retirement 🦷 ✨

As we bid a final farewell to Nigel at the practice this week, both patients and staff are nothing short of gutted 😭 but 40 years of dentistry has earned Nigel’s exciting retirement and we are all thrilled for his next chapter 🩷

A huge thankyou to all of Nigel’s wonderful patients who have brought in no end of notes, letters, cards, emails, gifts, treats, wines, he leaves as the much loved family dentist - Nigel has opened up space for more of what he loves….travel, good food, quality time with family and friends and everything in between ☺️

And finally Thankyou from all staff at the VDC, we are all so greatful to have worked with you, Thankyou for the jokes, advice, patcham pasties, garden parties, treats - you have been not just a great dentist and colleague but a great friend to us all - we will miss seeing you in the surgery 😭
