After an incredible 51 years of devoted service, we bid a fond and heartfelt farewell to Norma, our much-loved dental nurse, as she steps into a well-earned retirement.

Norma began her journey in dentistry in 1974, joining our orthodontic practice at a time when techniques, tools, and even uniforms looked very different! Over the decades, she has been a constant source of professionalism, warmth, and calm reassurance to patients and colleagues alike. Her steady hands, compassionate care, and encyclopedic knowledge of the practice have made her an indispensable part of our team.

Throughout the years, Norma has witnessed—and been an integral part of—huge advances in orthodontic care. She’s helped countless patients through their treatment journeys, always with a reassuring smile and the utmost care. Her commitment to high standards and her quiet leadership have set an example for generations of dental professionals.

But beyond the clinical skills and experience, it is Norma’s kindness, sense of humour, and unshakable work ethic that will be remembered most. She has been a mentor to many, a friend to all, and a pillar of stability and grace within the practice.

As she moves into retirement, we know she’ll be deeply missed—but we also know she’s earned every moment of rest, relaxation, and whatever adventures come next. Whether it’s spending more time with family, traveling, or enjoying the hobbies she never quite had time for, we wish her nothing but joy and fulfilment in the years ahead.

From all of us at The orthodontic centre, thank you, Norma, for everything. Your legacy will continue to shape this practice for many years to come.
