*********** CORONAVIRUS PATIENT UPDATE***************

We understand that you are concerned about Coronavirus (COVID-19). We, at John Cuddigans and Associates, wanted to write to you personally to firstly wish everyone well during this worrying time and to stay safe. Secondly, we want to update you on what is happening at our dental practice as this pandemic evolves nationally. Our first priority is the health and wellbeing of our patients, our team and community as a whole. We have been closely following the national guidance that has been issued to minimise risks.

We are monitoring the developing situation very closely and are following all advice issued by the NHS Standard Operating Procedures for Primary Dental Care Settings.

From this we are now enacting the following policies:

We are postponing all non-urgent treatment on any patient that falls into the ‘Vulnerable Groups” as defined by NHS England.

We are stopping all aerosol producing procedures- ie. anything that creates water droplets in the air.

However, we will still provide emergency care for patients in acute pain and that need to be seen urgently.
