Teething can be a tough time for little ones (and parents too!) 🦷 Remember every baby is different and if you’re ever concerned about symptoms or discomfort, speak to your health visitor or GP.

📍 Silfield Oak Primary Academy, Swallow Drive, Wymondham, NR18 9GE

✅ Open to all children aged 16 and under
✅ No appointment needed
✅ Children do not need to be registered with an NHS dentist
✅ Quick screening – takes around 3 minutes

Our friendly team will carry out a simple oral health check using a mirror and light to look for signs of tooth decay. 💙

What we eat and drink plays a huge role in keeping our teeth strong and healthy! 🦷✨

Choosing tooth-friendly foods like fruit, vegetables, dairy products, protein and plenty of water can help protect teeth from decay and keep smiles shining bright. 🌟

At the same time, cutting down on sugary snacks, fizzy drinks and frequent snacking can help reduce the risk of cavities and enamel wear.

💡 Remember:
✅ Eat balanced meals
💧 Choose water or milk
🪥 Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste
🦷 Floss daily
📅 Visit your dentist regularly

Getting little ones excited about brushing their teeth isn’t always easy, but a few simple changes can make a big difference! 🪥🦷✨

📚 Make it fun with books and videos
⭐ Use a reward chart
⏰ Brush for 2 minutes
🪥 Let them choose their own toothbrush
🛁 Build brushing into their daily routine

Remember, every child is different and it’s completely normal to have good days and bad days. Consistency is key! 💪😁

Paige had a lovely visit to Little Tinkers Childminders! 🦷✨

She spoke all about keeping our teeth clean and healthy, and finished the session with a Peppa Pig Tooth Fairy story which the children loved! 💖🧚 Thank you for having us! 😁
