We are incredibly proud to celebrate our Practice Manager, Sam, and her outstanding achievements alongside her role at Oakwood Dental Practice. 🎉

While managing the day-to-day operations of our busy practice, supporting patients, mentoring and coaching our team, and occasionally stepping back into surgery to provide nursing support, Sam is also studying towards a BA (Hons) in Business Leadership and Management through a Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship.

This qualification will lead to:
✅ BA (Hons) Business Leadership and Management Degree
✅ Full Level 6 Apprenticeship Certification
✅ Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Level 5 Qualification

Sam’s dedication and hard work have already been recognised by the University of Portsmouth. She was nominated for the University of Portsmouth Student Impact Awards, which celebrate students and alumni who make positive contributions to their communities.

In addition, Sam has been awarded a place on the Dean’s List for the Faculty of Business and Law after achieving an average mark of 70% or above across all modules, with no repeats, during her Level 5 studies.

Balancing university studies with a demanding management role is no small achievement, and we are incredibly grateful for the passion, commitment and leadership Sam brings to Oakwood Dental Practice every day.

Meet Liv! 👋

Liv joined Oakwood Dental Practice in 2022 as a trainee dental nurse and has grown into an integral part of our team. Since qualifying in 2023, she has continued to develop her skills, becoming a Sedation Dental Nurse, Radiographer and Treatment Coordinator.

With a passion for surgical dentistry, Liv enjoys assisting with dental implant procedures, while also supporting patients throughout their treatment journey and ensuring they feel informed and comfortable every step of the way.

Sadly, today marks Liv’s last day at Oakwood as she begins an exciting new chapter studying Dental Therapy and Hygiene at Queen Mary University of London. 🎓✨

We are incredibly proud of everything Liv has achieved and grateful for the dedication, care and positivity she has brought to our team. We wish her the very best for this next step and can’t wait to see all that she achieves! 💙

Meet Chloe! 👋

Chloe is one of our trainee dental nurses and has been developing her skills while supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. She has a real passion for Invisalign and enjoys spending much of her time treatment coordinating, helping patients understand their options and guiding them every step of the way.

Outside of work, Chloe is a proud mum to twins, who she welcomed in October 2025. She balances family life alongside her growing career in dentistry with enthusiasm and dedication.

We're delighted to have Chloe as part of the Oakwood team and look forward to watching her continue to grow and achieve in her career. ✨
