After a battle with cancer and losing some teeth during treatment, this lovely patient wanted to restore her smile and get her confidence and chewing function back. ❤️

Just a reminder that our NHS emergency dental clinics run throughout the year here at Boroughbridge Dental Centre for patients who are not currently registered with a dentist.

These appointments are for urgent dental problems such as dental pain, broken teeth, lost fillings or other dental emergencies.

💷 The NHS Band 1 charge is £27.90, unless you are exempt from NHS dental charges.

Next up is Fran, who has recently joined our dental nursing team.

Fran has been working as a dental nurse for over 3 years and particularly enjoys helping to keep patients calm and comfortable during extractions.

Outside of work, Fran likes to keep active with regular exercise classes and enjoys spending time with family when she’s not at the practice.

We’re really pleased to have Fran join the team and look forward to getting to know her more 😄

This patient came to us unhappy with his uneven, crooked smile and wanted to create a more balanced, symmetrical appearance.

Josh recently qualified from the University of Sheffield and is now completing his first year here at BBDC, where he’s building on his skills and experience alongside our experienced dental team.

When he’s not in the practice, Josh enjoys the quieter side of village life with his girlfriend and can usually be found playing padel with friends 🎾

✨ Before & After: Restoring function with dental implants ✨

This lovely patient came to us with a previously missing tooth, alongside another tooth that had experienced significant gum recession.

After a long battle with gum disease in the area, the remaining tooth had unfortunately become loose and needed to be removed.

Following a full assessment and discussion of her options, our patient chose to restore the area with two dental implants, replacing the missing teeth and helping to restore function on her left-hand side.

The result is a natural-looking, functional smile that she can feel confident using again. 🦷

We are continuing to work alongside the NHS to provide emergency dental clinics here at Boroughbridge Dental Centre for patients who are not currently registered with a dentist.

🦷 Upcoming NHS emergency clinics:

📅 Thursday 8th October
📅 Tuesday 13th October
📅 Thursday 22nd October
📅 Wednesday 11th November

🕙 10am–1pm

These clinics are for patients experiencing a dental emergency, such as pain, a broken tooth or a lost filling.

The cost is the current NHS Band 1 charge of £27.90, unless you are exempt from NHS dental charges. If you are exempt, please bring proof of your exemption to your appointment.

➡️ These clinics are for patients who are not currently registered with a dentist.
➡️ This is not an NHS registration clinic and we are unable to register new NHS patients at this time.
