Five years ago, I treated Louise’s front six teeth with composite bonding. Now, five years later, she’s back in my chair.

We discussed replacing the original bonding, but after assessing it, I felt there was no reason to remove work that was still in such good condition.

Instead, we opted for some subtle maintenance and a couple of additional composite veneers to bring everything together.

I’ve always believed that good dentistry is just as much about knowing what to leave untouched as it is about knowing what to change.

One of the most overlooked signs of ageing? Your teeth.

If I tell you I’m using Emax veneers, I should be able to prove it.

Emax is a specific brand of ceramic, not just another name for porcelain veneers.

For me, transparency is just as important as the final result.

Think of it like buying or ordering a bottle of Coke and being given an own-brand Coke. Similar appearance but not the same product.

And while different materials might look similar on day one, what matters to me is how they perform over time.

My advice? If you’re investing in porcelain veneers, ask questions. Know what you’re paying for.

I work with a trusted lab in Canada, and I know exactly what materials go into every smile I create. Transparency is always part of the process!

I was recently featured on Olivia Attwood’s The Price of Perfection on ITVX, where I treated Anya, who had spent years feeling self-conscious about her smile.

We carried out a carefully planned gum lift to improve the balance and proportions of her smile, a minimally invasive treatment completed in around 45 minutes.

Such a small change, but seeing the difference it made to Anya’s confidence was incredible.

Very grateful to have been part of the programme and to share a little more of what we do.

Two jobs. Two very different worlds.

One lets me shape smiles and rebuild confidence. The other is shaping two little lives… with a lot more pressure and a lot more learning as I go 😂

I definitely make fewer mistakes in dentistry these days!

Dad life? Still very much a work in progress.

Wouldn’t change either for the world. 🤍
