Building the Diploma in Mastering Your Invisalign Business alongside Victor has been one of the most rewarding parts of the journey.

Today he hosts our in person day for Module 6: Psychology and Persuasion. This module is all about communication and techniques that put patients at ease and help them make confident decisions about their treatment.

His influence runs through the whole programme and I’m honoured to have him leading this.

September was one of the busiest months this year. So many great things went on:

1. I celebrated the 11th annual MiSmile Conference and Gala with my family, friends and teams by my side. It was the best event we’ve ever done 🙏

2. Mine and Ali’s new book Mastering Your Invisalign Marketing reached #1 Best Seller Status on Amazon in its launch weekend in 2 categories.

3. We celebrated the Illuminate Gala with Operation Smile UK. We raised over ÂŁ11,000 on the night, which brings our total to ÂŁ400,005 raised as a business and I was honoured to present a cheque to them.

4. We celebrated Sana’s birthday and mine earlier in the month. Quality time with the family was exactly what I needed.

5. After the Conference, I’ve been spending some time with my dad in India. Time to slow down and reset.

6. An incredible performance at Wembley, seeing Diljit Dosanjh perform to a sold-out crowd 🙌

I handed my dad a copy of my new book and asked him what he thought.

He flicked through it for a few seconds, closed it, looked at me and said:

When you were 14, I dropped you off at a boarding school 36 hours away from home. On the long journey back, all alone, I kept asking myself one question: had I done the right thing, or had I taken your childhood away from you?

He picked up the book again, looked at it, then looked back at me.

“I guess I did the right thing.” ❤️

A moment I’ll remember forever. 🤗

MiSmile and Align Technology’s collaboration over the past 11 years has been one of growth, development and above all trust.

Trust in each other that we share the same vision for Invisalign growth and how we can spread this as big as we have done within the dental community. Last week for me was the biggest realisation that the community we’ve built that are all together because of the power of Invisalign is one that doesn’t exist anywhere else.

Thank you for hosting our Conference and to David and Sree for taking the time out and sharing insights from Align with our MiSmilers. Being able to witness what we’ve created together in person was everything I hoped for and more.

Two years ago, I watched my son crumble under pressure on that MiSmile conference stage. I was close enough to catch him, but not close enough to take the pain away. For a moment, I wondered if that stage would ever feel safe to him again.

This Friday, on that same stage, I watched Rahil Kumar deliver a flawless presentation with his MiSmile media team. Composed, confident, completely his own. I don’t think I’ve felt prouder in my professional life.

Two years of quiet work led to that moment. Nobody saw the effort. Everyone saw the comeback.
