Steven Maoudis has been a keen photographer for over 30 years and was lucky enough to have been guided by the late Ron Spillman who used to write for Amateur Photographer. Knowing about composition, lighting, exposure, and angle are just some of the key factors that make a good photo-shot. Every picture tells a story, and at ValentinaStevenphotography we aim to make your special day simply unique, by using a creative thought process. Gone are the days when literally all photographs were black and white, with technology you can now have a combination of colour and black and white. Since those early days, Steven has taken thousands of pictures all over the world. In the late 80’s Steven set up a studio in Shrewsbury and was commissioned by many to cover weddings, christenings and more. Over 20 years ago there was no such thing as a digital camera, and photographers used to rely on film only and then prey that the weather held out on any special day. Today with the aid of software applications such as ‘Photoshop and Lightroom’ almost anything is possible. From your standard teeth whitening to even removal of people in a photograph is now possible.
