You might not need X-rays every time - but sometimes they show us things we simply can’t see during a routine examination.

X-rays can help us spot problems between teeth, around the roots and below the gum line, allowing us to diagnose issues earlier and plan the right treatment.

We’ll only recommend an X-ray when we feel it’s clinically necessary

We’re so proud that Kim gained her graduate certificate in clinical hypnosis.

✨“It’s like coming to see friends” 💙

Meet Libby, who has been part of the Brucegate Dental Practice family since 2022.

When Libby first came to us, she was looking for a solution to replace dentures that were uncomfortable and no longer fitting properly. After discussing her options, we were able to help her restore her smile and confidence with dental implants. 🦷

Today, Libby is absolutely over the moon with her results - and in her own words, she “wouldn’t got anywhere else”.

But for us, it’s about more than just treatment. It’s about getting to know our patients, listening to what matters to them, and making every visit feel comfortable and welcoming.

It was Jackie’s last day at the practice on Friday, as she heads back home to Inverness to start her new chapter.

In true Brucegate style it ended with popping the Prosecco and partying the night away! Not before she was piped in by the amazingly talented Andrew.

After 12 fabulous years here’s to our excel spreadsheet queen, music loving b**r monster, shoeaholic, true crime j***y, kayaking, wild swimming, truck and digger enthusiast, fishing buff and all round extraordinary lady!

I would just like to say the biggest thank you to everyone who has supported my fundraising efforts. I am overwhelmed with everyone’s kindness, generosity and support!

Firstly to all of our Amazing patients, family and friends who have generously sponsored us. This has allowed me to order some much needed materials to take to Peru with Dental Mavericks

To my awesome team for joining me on the walk - and making every step a little bit easier and way more fun!!

To WellYou for the much needed and very much appreciated infrared sauna to help the aching muscles recover

🚶🏼‍♀️ Last Friday the team headed out on an 11.5 mile walk (more like hike) along the river tweed.

🥾 Starting from the practice in Berwick we enjoyed some beautiful scenery, very steep steps, some very welcome ice creams half way from Kim’s lovely mum and a quick refreshment at the fishers arms in Horncliffe, we finished the walk in Norham.

🇵🇪 The team of 13 of us planned the walk to raise sponsorship for our Dental Nurse Tanya who is heading off to Peru in August for a two week trip with Dental Mavericks; this is a charity dedicated to improving oral health in some of the world’s most underserved communities.

✨ The money raised will buy some much needed supplies and materials for the trip.
