A great 2 days at the ITI International Team for Implantology Congress UK & Ireland 2026 in Birmingham.

Our Head of CAD/CAM, Kris, took to the stage on Saturday with Dr Andy Legg to present on Development in the World of Digital – Lab vs. Clinic, exploring the evolving relationship between digital workflows in the laboratory and the clinical environment.

Thank you to everyone who attended the session and stopped by our stand throughout the weekend.

Meet the team behind your cases 👋

Julita is a Lab Technician who qualified in 2005, with experience spanning prosthetics, ceramics and digital dental technology.

After building a strong foundation in prosthetics, she developed her expertise in ceramics, working on cases ranging from single-unit restorations to complex full-arch rehabilitations. As dentistry became increasingly digital, Julita incorporated CAD/CAM technology into her workflow.

For our clinicians, that breadth of experience means she understands a case from several perspectives, bringing together prosthetic principles, ceramic craftsmanship and digital processes to help produce carefully considered restorations.

𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲𝘀 👋

Mark is a Lab Technician with 25 years of experience in dental technology and has been a GDC member since 2008.

Today, much of Mark’s work centres on the digital planning stages of a case, including the design of models and diagnostic wax-ups using Exocad, as well as digital model production.

He also works with coDiagnostiX and SMOP for implant planning and surgical guide production, bringing together CBCT data and diagnostic wax-ups to support collaborative planning with the dentist.

For our clinicians, Mark’s combination of technical experience and digital knowledge helps turn restorative planning into a carefully considered laboratory workflow.
