Keep Smiling! Neo Orthodontics will remain open!

On Saturday 31st October 2020 the Prime Minister announced a second national lockdown in England due to the rising cases of Covid-19.

Please be assured that our orthodontic practices remain open as normal. All scheduled appointments will still be going ahead as planned. We have all of the necessary personal protection equipment (PPE) and protocols in place to ensure that our patients and staff are kept safe and protected.

You must not attend the practice if you have coronavirus symptoms:
- a high temperature
- a new, continuous cough
- a loss of, or change to, your sense of smell or taste
In addition please follow all Government guidelines with regards to self-isolating should you live with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 or you have been advised to do so by the NHS track and trace team.

Attending the practice:
- on arrival you will be asked to wait outside of the practice and adhere to the social distancing measures in place.
- a staff member will then take your temperature. If this is above 37.8C you will be advised to rebook your appointment
- you will be required to use hand sanitiser on entering and when leaving the practice.
- please make sure you are wearing a face covering at all times - only remove your face covering when requested to by one of the team.
- Wherever possible only the patient should attend the appointment. However, in any case only a maximum of one accompanying person can be permitted with the patient if necessary.

We know these are difficult times and many of you will not be able to leave your homes.
To help everyone stay safe, we’re offering FREE remote consultations at NEO Orthodontics.
All you need is a smartphone:

Isolation is tough, but we’ll still help you to look after yourself!

We remain unable to see patients at this time. The situation for Dental & Orthodontic clinics has not changed in relation to our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We continue to offer advice and support by telephone so, if you do have any concerns, or a dental emergency, please do get in touch by email or telephone and we'd be happy to assist.

We will inform our patients as soon as further guidance is given by the Chief Dental Officer.

Dear Patients,

We hope that you are all keeping well, safe and segregated in this difficult time.

As we are sure you will appreciate, guidance in relation to dentistry is changing on a daily basis in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The British Orthodontic Society has suggested that orthodontic appointments should not be undertaken at this time, for your own protection and that of the clinical team.

We are bound by this guidance and will, of course, ensure that the safety and well-being of our patients and staff is paramount at this time.

As such, we will be unable to offer routine care but will continue to provide advice and management in relation to orthodontic emergencies. Please note that there are significant constraints in terms of the types of procedures that we can perform, even in relation to emergencies.

Please phone your local NEO practice and we will provide you guidance on how best to manage any problems from home.

In terms of continuing your treatment, we will be in touch with you once the situation has resolved and we are in a position to return to normal working arrangements. As such, we would be grateful if you could avoid contacting the practice for now, unless you require advice and/or management concerning an orthodontic emergency.

The British Orthodontic Society is advising that no orthodontic patient should attend any clinic at this time. In an extreme emergency, the patient should contact the practice or unit by phone and discuss ways of resolving their problem at home.
