Find something you'd do for free, and you'll never work a day in your life.

Passion changes everything. When you love what you do, the early mornings, late nights, and hard work don't feel like a burden—they become part of the journey.

Don't chase a paycheck. Chase purpose. The success will follow.

💭 What's one thing you'd happily do even if no one paid you?

Being an equine dentist isn't just about teeth. 🐴🦷

Every horse is an individual. What works for one won't always work for another, and that's why no two appointments are ever the same.

People often hear me joke about being a "horse whisperer", but the truth is it's about listening. It's about putting yourself in their position, reading the signals they're giving you, and adapting your approach so they feel safe enough to trust you.

That trust is something I never take for granted. Every horse that allows me to treat them gives me an incredible privilege.

There's always debate around sedation. I'm absolutely not against it—it has an important place, and sometimes it's the kindest and safest option. But I don't believe it should automatically be the first choice.

If that means getting soaked, sitting on the stable floor, spending five minutes giving cuddles, or standing for 20 minutes with a chocolate biscuit in my hand (you know who you are! 🍫), then that's exactly what I'll do.

Because if that's what a horse needs to feel safe, relaxed and confident enough for me to do my job, then it's time well spent.

For me, equine dentistry has never just been about floating teeth. It's about patience, empathy, communication, and treating every horse as the individual they are.

The teeth are only part of the job.
The horse will always come first. 🤎
