Apologies to anyone how is waiting on charts from me or have received multiple copies. My dental app crashed and the company is working hard to get it sorted and back online, im working my way though the confusion and getting charts handwritten and sent over.

Please note his may also mean that reminders havnt been issued. If anyone would like me to check when there horse is due please just message.

After meeting this little lady today and her friend i decided to look into pigs dentition.

"Before you think it... I yes i do have better things to do with my time but I like teeth 🤣"

For anyone who is weird like me
🟡 Pigs have 28 baby teeth followed by 44 adult teeth
🟣 Pigs usally have all there adult teeth by 22 months
🟢 Tusks continously erupt and can even curl back round into the head
🟤 Pigs cheek teeth are bracydont like humans so the do not erupt and wear like equines.
🔵 Pig dentistry is a thing 😊

So pleased these three are looking in tip top shape on there 6 month check up.

Some of you might remember little Alf on the end who was posted about on the baedt page after having an acorn stuck in a gap in his teeth and he also had to have a few teeth/fragments removed. 6 month later he is ready to take on the world or atleast his dentist 🙈

Still amazes me how resilient these little guys can be and how quickly they can bounce back with the right care 🥰

As a token of appreciation for all our hardworking colleagues in the stable, we would like to honor your work today. We know that equine dentistry would not be possible without equine dental practitioners who treat horses in the field every single day.

We are aware that not every horse -
just as in human medicine- requires an endoscopic, radiographic, or even a CT examination, let alone endodontic treatment or extraction. We thank the equine dental practitioners who, during their examinations with headlamp and mirror, are able to detect issues and decide whether further diagnostic evaluation by a specialist is necessary, and who then refer the case accordingly.
