📝VT TRAINING PRACTICE 📝

Here at YSDC, we take training really seriously - whether it's training dental nurses via the Modern Apprenticeship route or enabling ongoing training for our qualified team.

So when we expanded in 2024, becoming a VT training practice felt like a good fit for us.

A "VT" is a vocational trainee - basically a newly qualified dentist. A lot of you will have seen our current VT, Mehnaz and our former VT, Jordan. We have been incredibly lucky with our VTs, with both of them fitting in really well. You can see their comments regarding their time with us on the slides below.

Justin is our VT trainer and works closely with our VT to provide them support and training for their VT year, further developing their skill sets. We are lucky that our whole team is very collaborative and they are always happy to support our VTs.

Justin, our Clinical Director has recently completed the second module of the Anterior Bio-Esthetic Restorations Master Program at the Geneva Smile Centre, led by world-renowned clinician Didier Dietschi.

This advanced course focused on composite bonding and smile makeover design and build on the first module he completed last year.

Justin has been attending courses at the Geneva Smile Centre since 2008, when he was starting out his career as a dentist. This time, he travelled with the family and his two boys enjoyed tracking him down using google maps! 🤣

With these enhanced skills, Justin is excited to be able to offer even more aesthetically pleasing treatments—helping our patients achieve naturally radiant, confident smiles.
