We are lucky to have an in house CT scanner, that allows use to place implant safely and consistently.

This weekend, we had the pleasure of welcoming Dr Kieron Craine to lead our Saturday Study Club at the practice.

Our patients already recognise the value we place on modern imaging to support accurate diagnosis and to clearly explain our clinical decision making. Thanks to Dr Craine’s expertise, we’ve been able to take this even further. From our nurses and hygienists to our dentists, the entire team has advanced their skills in clinical photography enhancing the way we assess, communicate, and plan treatment.

Continuous learning is central to who we are, and investing in our team ultimately means delivering an even higher standard of care to our patients.

Worn teeth aren’t just an aesthetic concern but leaving teeth worn with the inner part of the tooth exposed can lead to sensitivity, increased risk of decay and for the wear to progress even quicker.

Did you know enamel is the hardest naturally occurring substance in the body? Your teeth have evolved to have a hard layer of it to protect the more fragile inner layers.

Once this is worn, the teeth are at risk.

Using modern minimally invasive techniques, we were able to build up the teeth to restore function, as a by product the aesthetics were also improved.

Proactive patients keep their teeth longer and prevent more invasive and costly dental treatments.

This lovely patient approached us as it’s been sometime since she had a check up and had noticed her lower teeth were wearing.

She had lost her back teeth and it was never recommended that these teeth are replaced. These missing teeth are incredibly important to function, loss of teeth means the remaining teeth are having to work harder. This leads to accelerated wear.

We used hand sculpted composite to repair these lower teeth, composite isn’t suitable for everyone but in this case it was the right material.

The missing back teeth will be replaced with dental implants soon, this will allow our patient to have a balanced diet, have a more functional and natural looking set of teeth.
