A little message from our Susan:

Graham and I would like to say a huge thank you to all our incredibly generous patients and the amazingly talented staff here at DI for their wonderful home bakes and support at our recent bake sale fundraiser for Aberdeen Royal Infirmary ENT Ward 210.

After Graham’s recent treatment on the ward, we wanted to give something back and set ourselves a fundraising goal of £500.
Thanks to everyone’s kindness and support, we are absolutely overwhelmed to share that we raised an amazing £2050!

We would also like to give a very special thank you to the talented Lisa Brundrett, who very kindly donated a huge selection of her beautiful greeting cards featuring prints of her stunning Scottish landscape paintings for us to sell as part of the fundraiser. Her generosity and support contributed greatly towards the fantastic total raised.

This is far more than we ever imagined possible, and we are currently in touch with the ward to discuss how the funds can best be used to benefit both the patients and the fantastic staff on Ward 210. Once we know more, we will share an update with you all.

Thank you again to everyone who donated, baked, bought, and supported us your kindness means so much.

We’re delighted to share that artist Lisa Brundrette has kindly donated a beautiful selection of her greetings cards for our bake sale!

These stunning cards feature Lisa’s own paintings of Barra, along with scenes from different seasons at Loch Nagar, perfect for sending a thoughtful note or keeping as a little piece of art.

10 amazing years with us!

It’s hard to put into words just how much she means to the whole team. She has been more than just a manager—she's the heart of the practice. ❤️
Always thoughtful, always going the extra mile, and always putting others before herself.
Whether it’s supporting the team on a tough day, making sure everything runs smoothly, or just checking in with a kind word, she makes such a difference to all of us.
She shapes the warm, welcoming environment we’re so lucky to work in every day.

We’re hosting our annual charity bake sale on Thursday 30th April 2026 from 10am 💛

This year, we’re raising funds for ENT Ward 210 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, a cause that means so much to our team.

The incredible staff there cared for our hygienist Susan’s partner, Graham, after he was diagnosed with tongue cancer in October 2025. Following major surgery and time in ICU, Graham spent several weeks on the ward receiving truly outstanding care. We’re so pleased to share that he is now home and making great progress with his recovery, speech, and eating.

The team went above and beyond, and this is our way of saying thank you and giving something back.

Please pop in for a cup of tea and some delicious home baking.

From 1st–19th December, Dental Inspirations will once again be supporting Instant Neighbour, a fantastic local charity dedicated to strengthening our community. Their mission is to combat poverty in health, wealth and opportunity, helping individuals and families lead healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives.

This year, we’re collecting donations for their foodbank, any contribution, big or small, can make a real difference.

Suggested Donations Include:

• Tinned foods (soup, beans, vegetables, meats)
• Pasta, rice & sauces
• Cereal & long-life milk
• Tea, coffee & sugar
• Biscuits & sweet treats
• Toiletries (shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste)
• Sanitary products (pads, tampons)
• Household essentials (toilet roll, cleaning products)

If you’re visiting us during the first few weeks of December, please consider bringing along an item to pop into our collection basket.

Check out these incredible before and after photos of our Practice manager Ami's journey with ClearCorrect, expertly carried out by Dr Cathryn Peach here at Dental Inspirations.

Ami's case was a little more complex than average, so her treatment took around 13 months of wearing removable ClearCorrect aligners, followed by 2 weeks of tooth whitening, and completed with some beautifully subtle composite bonding to perfect her smile.
