🇬🇧 **Disasterplasty 2026 | Hilton Head Island 🇺🇸**
A real honor to be part of **Disasterplasty 2026**, especially this year, with European faculty invited for the first time.
Together with **Thorsten Gehrke 🇩🇪** and **Simon Buckley 🇬🇧**, I had the privilege of being one of the three European surgeons invited.
Two presentations, two challenging topics:
🦠 **Antibiotic combinations & elution from bone cement in PJI**
🦴 **DFR in massive femoral bone loss: how much bone do we really need?**
But meetings like this are not only about science. They are also about sharing experiences, challenging ideas, catching up with old friends and making new ones.

Un auténtico honor participar en **Disasterplasty 2026**, especialmente este año, con faculty europeo invitado por primera vez.

🦴 **DFR en grandes defectos femorales: ¿cuánto hueso necesitamos realmente?**
Pero estos encuentros no son solo ciencia. También son compartir experiencias, debatir ideas, reencontrarse con viejos amigos y hacer otros nuevos.
