Can anyone help beautiful Millie find the loving home she deserves? ❤️🐾
3 years in a kennel. Milly is only 4 years old, meaning she has spent the vast majority of her life behind bars at the Cieza facility.
It is easy for a dog to become invisible when they aren’t receiving consistent human interaction. Because volunteers are rare at Cieza, Milly has spent far too long in a state of anxious waiting. But there is so much potential hiding beneath that fear.
Patricia, one of our volunteers, shares this insight into who Milly really is:
‘Milly is a sweetheart. She was very scared and didn’t want to leave her kennel. After a few months, she now happily walks outside on a leash. She never pulls and always responds when you talk to her. Sometimes she still finds being petted on the head a little scary and may flinch, but this is improving every day. She really wants to do everything right, looks at you often, and genuinely seeks connection. She deserves a calm and loving home.’

Milly doesn’t need a miracle; she needs consistency. She needs someone to show her that the world isn’t a scary place and that she is safe. She needs daily care to continue building her confidence so she can finally learn to be a dog and do the things dogs love to do.
