Clinica Dental el Puerto would like to introduce our Implantologist and Oral Surgeon, Dr Ignacio Solis Garcia.
He leads the maxillo-facial surgery team at the private 9th of October hospital in Valencia offering his experience and specialisation. He visits our clinic every month to see patients for Implant placement, surgical extractions, biopsies and other oral surgery procedures.
He is a key member of our implant team who works together with our restorative dentists in order to provide our patients with the exceptional results they deserve.
So what is an implant?
An implant is a small titanium post and is used as an artificial replacement for missing teeth. The implant is basically screwed into the bone and once the bone has grown around it, the implant can support crowns, bridges or even dentures.
