A lot of people complain about teeth sensitivity with sour, sweet, cold, or hot food or drinks , and directly get an anti-sensitivity tooth paste to solve this problem. However, one might not know that the tooth paste is not enough and that he/she needs to prevent eating specific food and stop certain habits that might be the leading cause for this sensitivity, such as: drinking Sodas, eating acidic/sour fruits, or even chewing ice.
How can we reduce “Teeth sensitivity"? -- Don’t brush your teeth more than 3 times a day , because the tooth paste has acids that are considered erosive for the enamel layer of the teeth.
- Get an anti-sensitivity tooth paste and leave it on your teeth for no more than 5 minutes.
- Using the dental floss is definitely not a wrong behavior but using it excessively or in a wrong way is the wrong behavior; as the dental floss is considered a cause for "Gingival Recession" that leads to "Teeth Sensitivity ". What if you did all of this and you are still feeling pain? Let me tell u that this is not simple “Teeth sensitivity". You need to go to your dentist as you might be suffering from advanced gingival inflammation and exposed roots that cause you pain or you might have simple caries that if ignored can become deep and can require endodontic treatment.
