Post-operative sensitivity after posterior composites is rarely random.
It’s almost always technique-related.

Most cases come down to:
• Errors in the adhesive protocol
• Heat generation during finishing
• Skipping immediate dentin sealing
• Incorrect dentin moisture control
• Poor adhesive pe*******on

When these steps are controlled, sensitivity becomes preventable — not expected.

Restorative success is built before the composite is placed.

Overmolding isn’t adding more composite.
It’s a biomechanical decision.
Done correctly, it redistributes stress and protects the remaining tooth structure.
Done wrong, it creates fractures, debonding, and early failure.
In this video, I explain when to overmold, when not to, and the common mistakes dentists make.
Watch carefully — this step changes long-term outcomes.

This course is for dentists who want confidence, not confusion.
If you want to understand why you’re doing each step —
not just copy a technique — this is where that clarity is built.
I focus on decision-making, diagnosis, and predictable workflows,
so when you return to your clinic, you’re ready to treat cases on your own — with confidence.
Details coming soon.

Strong adhesion is built, not assumed.
IDS + resin coat are two critical steps that control dentin behavior, reduce post-operative sensitivity, and improve long-term bond stability.
This is adhesion done with intention, not shortcuts.

Most universal bond failures are not material failures — they’re technique failures.

Brush selection, active application time, proper solvent evaporation, and reaching tight areas all determine whether your adhesive actually works or not.

Using one brush, rushing the air, or assuming the bond reached everywhere leads to weak hybrid layers and early failure.

Adhesion is a protocol, not a single step.

If you treat every deep cavity the same way, you’ll get unpredictable results.

Selective removal is not about how much you remove — it’s about where you stop.

In deep lesions, success starts with understanding dentin biology:
• Remove infected soft dentin
• Preserve firm dentin pulpally
• Secure a sound peripheral seal zone
• Build on a biologically stable base

This approach preserves pulp vitality, improves adhesion predictability, and increases long-term restoration survival.

Restorative dentistry isn’t drilling harder — it’s thinking deeper.

Most postoperative “high bite” complaints aren’t from the composite… they’re from inaccurate occlusal checks.

Occlusion is an objective process — not a patient opinion.
