Restoring function esthetically? 🧞‍♀️

Deep margin elevation was done for both UL 6 & 7 🚀, then:

Multilayered zirconia crown for UL6 + Emax endocrown for UL7. 🦷

This case was referred to me 1 m after RCT. Both deep margins were elevated first, then a post was added for the U6 as the remaining tooth structure wasn't enough.

Also verti-prep. was a valid option to be more conservative and to avoid creating a finish line on the distal composite wall.🌟

Enjoy the steps⬇️🚀

Gingival depigmentation by bur abrasion.🌟

A flame diamond bur was used with minimal pressure to remove the pigments.

*Copious irrigation is crucial to keep the tissues hydrated, also saline immersed gauze was used to control the bleeding.

Pulpotomy or pulpectomy?👀

This child complained of severe pain related to his lower right molar area.

I started the treatment with the LRD as it looked more carious clinically. (Pulpectomy for the distal canal & pulpotomy for the 2 mesial canals).🦷

LRE treatment was done in another visit after the symptoms were followed-up to decide (Whether atraumatic ttt or pulp therapy). The symptoms didn’t subside so pulpectomy was the treatment of choice.💫

The two molars also received St St crowns for better prognosis.

Single central rettt..
From PFM to ultra translucent zirconia🪄🎬

This 19 y.o patient was referred to me with an old PFM crown (done from 10 years) with open margins and an unesthetic appearance which was the patient’s chief complaint.

The tooth was endo retreated before referral, so to close the access cavity I used everX to restore the dentin part and then flowable composite to offer a perfect marginal seal. ✨

Cercon XT ML zirconia was used which offered a more conservative solution with relatively better strength than going with the Emax option, also the esthetic demands in this case to gain a natural appearance could be perfectly met by xt multilayered zirconia.💫

Enjoy the journey✨⬇️

Saving another traumatized tooth🪄🦷

✨MTA pulpotomy & direct veneer for UR1.

This 8 y.o patient presented with a fractured
UR1 with a pinpoint micro pulp exposure. 🩸

His chief complaint was pain that developed 5 months after a trauma.⏳

So, a vitality test was done which indicated an irreversible pulpitis.

Clinically, the pulp chamber tissues only were inflammed.. so, MTA vital pulp therapy was the perfect choice to preserve the remaining healthy pulp tissues.

As a final restoration, I had two options: either cl IV to be more conservative or direct veneer to guarantee a relatively better prognosis.

Enjoy the steps..🐾🦷🪄
