I don’t think I’ve ever prepared a lecture without first asking myself a question!

It might come from something that happened in clinic and stayed on my mind, or from a topic I thought I knew… until I looked at it again.

That question usually takes me back to the literature. I read more, rethink what I know, and sometimes find myself looking at a familiar idea in a completely different way.

Because before I stand in front of others to teach, I want to be sure I’ve challenged myself first.
And honestly, that’s one of the things I love most about teaching!
